Welcome to Arlin’s Dance Spot. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Arlin’s Dance Spot website, online community, member portal, staff portal, messaging features, groups, documents, events, and other online services made available through our website.

By creating an account, accessing the community, or using these services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY

The Arlin’s Dance Spot online community is designed to help members, parents, students, instructors, staff, and other authorized users stay connected and informed.

The community may include:

Studio announcements and updates
Class and event information
Member and staff groups
Direct and group messaging
Photos, videos, and documents
Calendars and schedules
Staff resources
Member discussions and social interaction

Certain areas may be restricted to specific users, including staff-only, instructor-only, front desk, management, or other private groups.

2. ACCOUNTS

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password and for activity occurring through your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to update your information when necessary.

Accounts are intended for the individual to whom they are assigned and may not be shared with another person without permission from Arlin’s Dance Spot.

3. CHILDREN AND MINORS

Users under 13 should not independently create or manage an online community account.

A parent or legal guardian should create and manage online access for a child under 13 when access is needed.

Users between the ages of 13 and 17 should use the community with the knowledge and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

4. COMMUNITY CONDUCT

We want the Arlin’s Dance Spot community to remain welcoming, respectful, positive, and useful.

Users may not:

Harass, threaten, bully, intimidate, or discriminate against another person
Post obscene, abusive, defamatory, or inappropriate material
Share another person’s private information without permission
Impersonate another member, instructor, staff member, or representative
Upload malicious software, spam, or misleading content
Use the community to solicit members for unrelated commercial purposes without authorization
Disrupt studio operations, classes, staff communications, or community discussions
Share content from private staff or management areas with unauthorized individuals

Arlin’s Dance Spot reserves the right to remove content, restrict access, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts when necessary to protect the studio or community.

5. STAFF AND PRIVATE INFORMATION

Information posted within staff, instructor, front desk, management, rehearsal, production, or other restricted areas is intended only for authorized users.

Confidential studio information may not be copied, forwarded, published, photographed, screenshotted, or shared outside the authorized group without permission.

6. CONTENT YOU POST

You remain responsible for content you upload or post.

By posting content within the community, you give Arlin’s Dance Spot permission to display that content within the portions of the community where you chose to post it.

Posting content in the online community does not automatically give Arlin’s Dance Spot permission to use your image or content for public advertising or marketing where separate permission would otherwise be required.

7. PHOTOS AND VIDEOS

Members should respect the privacy of others when sharing photos or videos.

Do not upload images or videos of another person in a way that violates that person’s privacy or any studio policy.

Photos or videos involving minors should be handled with particular care.

8. MESSAGES AND COMMUNICATIONS

The community may include direct messaging and group communication features.

Messages should be used appropriately and respectfully.

For urgent matters, emergencies, payment disputes, legal notices, or issues requiring immediate studio assistance, users should contact Arlin’s Dance Spot directly rather than relying solely on community messaging.

9. STUDIO SERVICES AND PURCHASES

Use of the online community does not modify any separate membership agreement, class policy, cancellation policy, event agreement, private lesson agreement, payment authorization, waiver, or other contract with Arlin’s Dance Spot.

Those separate agreements and policies remain applicable.

10. AVAILABILITY

We aim to keep the community available and functioning properly, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

Features may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues, hosting providers, WordPress updates, plugins, or third-party services.

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our website and community may rely on third-party providers for services such as website hosting, community functionality, payments, email, notifications, analytics, forms, file storage, and other technical services.

Your use of certain features may therefore also be subject to the applicable provider’s terms and policies.

12. TERMINATION OR SUSPENSION

Arlin’s Dance Spot may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the community for violations of these Terms, misuse of the platform, safety concerns, unauthorized access, or other legitimate studio operational reasons.

13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms as our services, community, or legal requirements change.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
